Our Roots and Story
At Okema Designs we’re a mother-daughter team cultivating healing from the earth, rooted in the old ways. Located on a small farm in Central Alberta, our craft is inspired by a lineage of herbalists and farmers who have passed down ancient knowledge of plant medicine, energy, and healing.
From planting to wild harvesting, our products are created with intention—woven with love, history, and connection. We’re not just making products, we’re honoring a tradition of natural wellness that’s been in our family for over five generations.
We grow and source as many of our herbs as we can, keeping them as close to home as possible. We work with the rhythms of nature and the land, knowing that true healing comes when we listen deeply to the plants and honor their energy.
